| :: CONSRTUCTION OF BIOGAS PLANTS |
INRECA has constructed about 200 biogas plants in Dediapada block of Bharuch district. The main ration able for taking up this Programme was to promote renewable sources of energy and using biogas waste as organic manure, maximizing utilization of cow dung (gobar) available in the tribal areas and reducing deforestation due to use of firewood and thereby promote environment conservation. In addition the social implications of the effect on health due to reduction of smoke in the cooking area, reduction of soot deposit on utensils and increased convenience were other reason, which promoted INRECA to take up this activity.
It has come in to our notice that because of various reasons the most of the biogas plants have become out of order. So, INRECA is conducting a detailed survey to find out the reason of getting defunct & massive repair Programme in order to revitalize the sick plants.
As part of INRECA's research and development efforts it has designed and introduced as appropriate Biogas plant called Garbage Gas Manure Plant (GGMP) which is more suitable for this forest area were illegal cutting of trees is rampant and used as fuel wood. Secondly, being gas and organic manure. CGMP is well suite for use on a community basis e.g. Tribals Student Hostels, Ashrmshala etc.
INRECA has constructed three GGMP units for a government higher secondary school, Sagbara, B.R.S. College Thava and for the INRECA complex in Dediapada block of Bharuch district. Once this concept is accepted by the local district Panchayat/ Forest officials, a large scale Programme to disseminate this technology would be launched. |

:: RURAL ELECTRIFICATION THROUGH SOLAR ENERGY(Proposed) |
I INRECA has carried out detailed survey of Dediapada block & identified about 30 villages where there is no electricity and there is no such further planning because these villages are situated on the hillock & between the ranges.
So, INRECA is in touch with the Holland based funding agency in order to finance the proposed project which envisages installations of Photo-voltaic Solar pans & avail electricity / light to the concern villages. The entire responsibility would be of INRECA to maintain the asset & ensure regular supply to the end users by charging minimum rent from the beneficiaries.
To concretise this plan, President of INRECA is planning to visit Holland (Nether land) & to give the final touch to this proposed project.

Society Ltd. as a result more than 8.5 lakhs plants have been planted in Dediapada block, while about 2.5 lakhs plants have been planted in 10 villages of Dhrol Block of Jamnagar District so far.

:: NURSRY RAISING OF MEDICINAL PLANTS |
Forest range of Dediapada is full of Fauna & Flora. This forest rang lies in the Satpuda range. There are few tribal families who have indigenous knowledge of using of flora for various aliments. Secondly, these are various plants who have their precious medicinal values which has big market demand. INRECA has identified some tribal groups for raising of nurseries of medicinal plant by project & the same project has been assisted by UNDP which would be bring economical enhancement among the tribal groups. :: LOWCOST HOUSING PROGRAMME |
INRECA has taken up a pilot project in which 25 low cost house would be constructed in Nanasukamba village with a low cost sanitation unit also. Although constructed of low cost houses scheme is already going on in backward areas under Indira Awas Yojana but they are failed to achieve their objectives because of wrong implementation of this scheme. Normally, the concerned department is construction house in cluster very far from the existing villages. And the families which are going to allots these houses not having any linkages with each other. And finally, the allots are frustrated after some time from the funding agency and they started going back to their original places albeit which is not suitable for accommodation. Why these houses are not adaptable? The reason is obvious that they are sheltered far away from their villages which tends to frustration. Secondly, socially they are not having relations so they feel loneliness unless until they are not linked each other. Keeping all this social scenario in mind, INRECA had decided to construct these shall be replaced by the construction of new house without disturbing their social lives.
Now, INRECA has also decided to construct another 400 low cost housing units in the villages of Dediapada & Sagbara blocks with twin pit toilet. So, the project has been discussed with Govt. of Gujarat under Sardar Awas Yojna. As of now, 200 Housing units are under construction 140 units are in Dediapada & 60 units in sagbara block.
