India is world's biggest democratic country where government nominees are elected by; masses. To ensure the fuller participation to Francine their rights, the Chief Election Commissioner Sh. TN.Seshan has called a meeting of NonGovernment Organisation in Nirvachan Sadan to create awareness among the masses to cast their vote with full conscious. So INRECA has taken so-much pain to create awareness in to the tribal communities through pamphlet, cinema slides, writing 0 n walls, door -to-door contact etc. The then District Collector of Bharuch Sh. Arvind Agrawal IAS & District Collector Sh. G. C. Murmoo IAS organized meetings with NGOs to aware the people to bring out heir identity cards & participate in Card Programme which is most important to conduct free and fare election and stop the bogus voting during elections. INRECA has participated in this programme to fulfil the objectives by handbill & drama prepared by the student of S.D. School. |

Later on, District Collector of Bhar'Jch Ms. S. Aparna IAS had started on awareness programme for the illiterate voters in tribal areas in order to observed the real participation in democratic approach of electing their leader. So, the new schemes are formulated to conduct such awareness programme in this area. |

:: Consrtuction of Biogas Plants |

INRECA has constructed about 200 biogas plants in Dediapada block of Bharuch district.The main ration able for taking up this Programme was to promote renewable sources of energy and using biogas waste as organic manure, maximizing utilization of cow dung (gobar) available in the tribal areas and reducing deforestation due to use of firewood and thereby promote environment conservation. In addition the social implications of the effect on health due to reduction of smoke in the cooking area, reduction of soot deposit on utensils and increased convenience were other reason, which promoted INRECA to take up this activity.
It has come in to our notice that because of various reasons the most of the biogas plants have become out of order. So, INRECA is conducting a detailed survey to find out the reason of getting defunct & massive repair Programme in order to revitalize the sick plants.
As part of INRECA 's research and development efforts it has designed and introduced as appropriate Biogas plant called Garbage Gas Manure Plant (GGMP) which is more suitable for this forest area were illegal cutting of trees is rampant and used as fuel wood. Secondly, being gas and organic manure. CGMP is well suite for use on a community basis e.g. Tribals Student Hostels, Ashrmshala etc.
NRECA has constructed three GGMP units for a government higher secondary school, Sagbara, B.R.S. College Thava and for the INRECA complex in Dediapada block of Bharuch district. Once this concept is accepted by the local district Panchayat/ Forest officials, a large scale Programme to disseminate this technology would be launched. |

INRECA has organized 6 big camps in Dediapada and Sagbara block of Bharuch district hitherto. The main objectives of these camps were to create awareness among the tribals about their rights, approach as well as various kinds of welfare activities launched by Centre/ State Government Department particularly for their upliftment. These measures have been received and are approach by the tribal communities.
Recently two farmer awareness camps are conduct is association with KRIBHCO in Dediapada & GNFC in Sagbara block where 400-500 farmers participated in each camp. All the farmers were acknowledge as about as about new pattern of cropping, Application of new methodologies, certified seeds as well as uses of organic and inorganic fertilizer during 1998-99 years. |

Central Social Welfare Board has launched a ambitious plan to aware the women, - particularly of schedule cast tribes in all respect in order to aware them about their rights. Secondly, Panchayati Raj, a crucial subject to today where maximum emphasis has been given to decentralized the power particularly women are constituting about 50% reservation to empower them. Thirdly, maximum benefits! results should come, polio pulse etc, and this is only possible when women would be aware about these benevolent schemes.

:: EYE CAMP AND GENERAL HEALTH CAMP |

INRECA is involved in conducting eyes camps and general health camps in tribal area since 1988 with the assistance of Dr. Doshi of Gujarat Blind Prevention Trust, Chikodra, Rotary Club; Ankleshwar, Lions Club, Vadodara etc. The local folks are being treated free of cost and hundreds of patients have been treated to by the INRECA & renewed salt merchant of Ankleshwar Shri Sureshbhai Jayantilal Shah had organized a big Eye camp at INRECA in association with Vishwa Hindu Parishad which covered almost entire Dediapada block. All minor and major operations are carried out, the patients were kept in INRECA complex for at east 7 days. Free fooding & lodging had been arranged. Spectacles distribution had also conducted free of cost.
INRECA had organised one general camp in INRECA complex in association with Sardar Sarovar Punrvasvat Agency, Vadodara & penal of doctors of Rajpipla jointly. Main emphasis was given to displaced families of Narmada dam as well as the patients of hear by villages like wise about 300 patients work treated during the camp of various diseases.

4 awareness camps has been organised during the year in order to protect the rights of consumers. Meeting were called & the large gathering was informed about their rights to buy any item from the traders needs to be clearly mentioned about the date of packaging, expiry date, name of contents, price, weight (if it is) etc. The pouch of the packing should not be open or wrapped of before the purchasing. If it seems to be any adulteration, traders should be contacted for their replacement. If the trader refuses for their replacement then the consumer should approach to CONSUMERS REDDRESAL CELL in order to take appropriate action against the traders.
